Old School legends!

Ängsareten, Linds långa linje, Mandomsprovet, Mödomsrovet are classics and should be on every climbers tick-list. These lines represent the birth of Kjuge as a climbers playground. None are soft for the grade (in my opinion), and are all sure to get your pulse up as well as put a smile on your face. The picture above is as you all probably know of "Caspersens arete" which was first sent by the Norwiegan all-rounder Robert Caspersen, but if you look behind that incredibly handsome dude who is climbing you can see the guys responsible for these classic lines and many more. These two old school legends are still playing on the stones at Kjuge. Patrik Lind (on the left) is a power-house as well as a really nice guy. He seems to be making a comeback to the Kjuge scene of late, climbing more and more often. Daniel Ehman is maybe to Kjuge what Chongo is to Yosemite, the wise man of the woods who has been there from the start ;)
He is not at all driven by grade, he just loves to climb..............................alot! He seems to be in the best shape of his life as far as bouldering goes and getting stronger every week. If he continues to improve at this rate then by my calculations he should be cruising 8b+ by mid-summer ;)

-So next time you are in Kjuge and not sure what to climb, my top tip is an easy one to remember. Open your guidebook, flick through till you find Daniels name and climb it.You'll not be dissappointed, i promise!-
